Korean Christian groups say they will pray Lady Gaga concert is cancelled so 'homosexuality and pornography will not be spread around the world'

Lady Gaga has arrived in Seoul, South Korea ahead of her concert on Friday (27 April). Around 300 Christians gave her the cold shoulder by praying that her concert will be cancelled.

'We will pray to God that the concert will not be realized so that homosexuality and pornography will not spread around the world,' Kang Ju-Hyun, head of the Alliance for Sound Culture in Sexuality, told AFP...

A transgender woman was beaten up by seven men outside her home in Istanbul last night

Michelle Demishevich, trans LGBT actvist, and her dog nina who were attacked last night in Istanbul.

A transgender woman was attacked in the street outside her home in Istanbul last night when she took her dog out for a walk.

Michelle Demishevich told Gay Star News that in the early hours of Monday (today, 23 April) she and her dog were attacked by seven men for about five minutes, while neighbours just watched from their homes.

Demishevich, who is a campaigner for LGBT rights in Turkey, later called the police but she doesn't feel confident they are investigating the attack thoroughly...

Thousands, including hundreds of students, gathered at an anti-LGBT rally outside Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, witnessing speeches clamouring for intolerance of sexual minorities in Malaysia.

Several NGOs met to express their dissatisfaction with tentative calls for LGBT rights in the majority Islamic country. Protestors met at the campus of Universiti Putra Malaysia in Serdang, south of the capital, after being denied permission to gather in Kuala Lumpur's central square, Dataran Merdeka.

Media reports on the numbers of protests varied from 1,000 to 3,000 from the New Straits Times. Much of the speakers' anger was directed at politicians who they deemed to be supporting LGBT rights...

Before the film, a panel of nationally recognized experts on bullying prevention spoke from their perspectives about challenges and opportunities, and after the film, we heard from Lee Hirsch, the director and filmmaker, and several of the students and families who were directly impacted by bullying and intolerance and whose stories were featured in the film.'...

G-A-Y boss, Jeremy Joseph, raises over 135,000 pounds for charity

Jeremy Joseph, the boss of legendary UK club G-A-Y, has run his third London Marathon and has risen over £135,000 ($217,458, ˆ164,553) for the Elton John AIDs Foundation.

With the aim of reaching his target of £150,000 ($241,620, ˆ182,837), Joseph finished the race at a time of four hours, thirty-two minutes and 46 seconds. He ran with the other 35,900 athletes hoping to complete the 26.2 mile course.

In the 32nd year of the London Marathon, Joseph organised balloons to be released to spread awareness about the number of people living with HIV in the UK...

A commercial showing ten members of a widely popular Japanese all-girl pop group passing bite-sized candies from mouth-to-mouth is under fire for promoting homosexuality.

The advertisement, which first aired in March, shows members from the group AKB48 dressed in school uniforms intimately exchanging the sweet.

A broadcasting standards watchdog said the majority of the 116 complaints they received related to the young people appearing in the advert performing homoerotic acts...

The It Gets Better video was released today (21 April) as part of a national conference for gay Mormons in Washington D.C, USA.

In the video the parents share their experiences of struggling with their faith when their children told them they were gay, and how they came to love them for who they are.
